Tippity Top Chicken

Located in Marietta, Georgia since 1947, Tip-Top is a family owned and operated food manufacturer that embraces the saying, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Soon after Al founded the company, he invited his lifelong friend Chet to join. Today both their sons work side by side, continuing the family tradition of providing "Tip-Top" quality service and products to their customers!

Slice'm and Dice'm, Dry'm and Freeze'm!

Three guys - Arch, Dan and Bill - decided some time ago that a better diced tomato would make for better food. They farm their own 6,000 acres on the west side of the single most productive agricultural land in the world, California's Central Valley. Great sun, great rain, great soil results in a great tomato, every time... and, of course, great people with a passion for really good food! Thanks, guys!

Basil, A Symbol of Love from California:

One of the most popular herbs today, Basil is native to India, though others say Persia and Africa. Nevertheless, it is well traveled, well loved and powerful. In India, it was held in great reverence and was the means by which Indians would swear their oaths at court. In Italy, on the other hand, it symbolizes love, an oath of a different sort, of course! For centuries, Italian women have worn basil in their hair to charm the man of their desire. Our Founder's Nana thought it was much simpler to just make extraordinary food for the men in her life... a more simple and much more effective use of basil!

Rice Starch:

Pure Taste, High Energy, Interesting History. We all need friends we can lean on and rice was no different... in this, rice chose well: the Dutch East India Company. Formed in 1602, Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie (or "VOC") in old-spelling Dutch, was the very first company to issue stock. VOC dominated the spice and rice trade from Asia for some 200 years and was instrumental in bringing rice to Europe and, therefore, to the Americas. When we decided rice starch would allow us to best showcase the marvelous flavors of our soups, it was only logical that we would turn to the terrific US, family-owned company that represents the world's leading supplier of rice starch, which happens to be a Dutch company, headquartered on a canal, not too far from where VOC was organized more than 400 years ago! Rice starch helps us deliver our great taste... by way of an intriguing piece of history!
